Construction, Operation, and Maintenance
At Elmya EPC, we stand out as a leading company in the design, construction, and grid connection of large-scale renewable energy power plants. Thanks to our industrial photovoltaic solar energy projects, we have a strong international presence in strategic regions such as Spain, the United Kingdom, Italy, Portugal, and Latin America. With over 20 years of experience in the sector, we have successfully completed a significant number of projects worldwide, exceeding 3 GWp of installed capacity. Our team consists of more than 200 highly qualified professionals, ensuring the professionalism and viability of every project we undertake. In our EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) business area, we are dedicated to the comprehensive planning and management of each stage of the projects. This includes everything from the initial design, engineering, and planning phase to construction and commissioning. Our main objective is to provide high-quality service by delivering turnkey projects within budget and on schedule. In the Services area of Elmya EPC, we specialize in the operation and maintenance (O&M) of photovoltaic solar plants with the aim of ensuring their optimal performance. We carry out monitoring, inspection, preventive, and corrective maintenance tasks to ensure maximum efficiency and durability throughout their lifespan.
We focus on the conversion and adaptation of electrical energy to different voltage levels and characteristics required by end users. This involves the installation and maintenance of transformation equipment that modifies electrical voltage safely and efficiently, ensuring that energy can be properly utilized by consumers. This process plays a fundamental role in the efficient and safe delivery of electrical energy to end users. We specialize in managing the infrastructure necessary to transport energy generated from renewable sources from production sites to end consumers. This encompasses the design, construction, operation, and maintenance of electrical transmission and distribution networks, as well as the integration of energy storage and management systems. Our approach is centered on ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and safety of the electrical grid while optimizing the integration of renewable energy into the electrical system. In this way, we actively contribute to decarbonization and the transition towards a more sustainable energy system.
Execution of electrical installations and photovoltaic self-consumption
Elmya Instalaciones, founded in Seville in 1966, started as a company specialized in high, medium, and low voltage electrical installations, closely collaborating with the industrial, commercial, and agri-food sectors on various electrical projects. Since 2007, we have focused on the execution of solar photovoltaic installations on land and rooftops, providing renewable and cost-effective solutions for all sectors. Currently, we also collaborate with other companies in the electrical assembly of Utility Scale or large-scale solar plants. Our commitment is to offer a comprehensive service as an installer, adding value through engineering, operation, and maintenance services. We have a team of experts dedicated to designing, executing, and maintaining electrical installations that promote energy efficiency and sustainability.
Since our inception, at Elmya Instalaciones, we have specialized in the design, validation, execution, maintenance, and repair of electrical installations for the industrial and retail sectors. By working alongside trusted suppliers, we always ensure the highest quality and reliability of the materials and equipment installed. We have undertaken a wide variety of electrical projects, from small renovations in warehouses and stores to the complete execution of new low and medium voltage electrical installations for logistics blocks and industrial facilities. In recent years, we have collaborated with EPC companies in the electrical assembly of large-scale plants, both in Spain and abroad, executing over 450 MW of electrical assembly with maximum reliability and commitment. Our experienced and trained team of engineers and installers specialized in low, medium, and high voltage electrical installations has positioned us as a key player in the electrical installation sector.
At Elmya Instalaciones, we specialize in the design, implementation and maintenance of solar photovoltaic plants for self-consumption and sale to the grid of small to medium power since 2007. Since our inception, we have focused on providing renewable solutions to large consumers in the retail sector and have expanded our reach to the industrial and agricultural sectors, which has given us a solid experience in solar photovoltaic technology.
Our services include the installation of off-grid and medium power rooftop plants for leaders in the retail sector, as well as the integration of batteries in all types of self-consumption installations. At Elmya Instalaciones, we work closely with numerous clients to reduce their energy demand, taking advantage of the solar resource and significantly reducing their energy costs in the short, medium and long term, also contributing to mitigate their carbon footprint and promoting a more sustainable future.
Development of Solar, BESS, and Green Hydrogen Projects
At Elmya Energy, we consider ourselves a Renewable Energy Development Platform with an ambitious goal: to connect 7 GW of renewable energy projects in Europe over the next 5 years. We focus on photovoltaic solar energy, battery storage, and more recently, green hydrogen. Our strategy centers on combining entirely new development with mergers and acquisitions of ready-to-build projects. This allows us to enhance our impact and optimize profitability for our investors.
We specialize in the identification, evaluation, development, and execution of renewable energy projects. Our work encompasses everything from land search and acquisition to the technical and economic feasibility analysis of projects, management of permits and licenses, planning and coordination of construction, and maintenance of installations once they are operational. Our photovoltaic solar energy (PV) service focuses on the design, installation, and maintenance of photovoltaic systems. This involves site assessment, equipment and material selection, installation of solar panels, and connection to the electrical grid. PV systems convert sunlight into electricity in a clean and sustainable manner, providing a renewable energy source for homes, businesses, and industries.
Our BESS service focuses on the installation and management of battery-based energy storage systems. These systems allow us to store energy generated from renewable sources, such as solar, for later use when demand is high or generation conditions are suboptimal. In addition to providing backup power and stabilizing the electrical grid, our BESS systems can also offer demand management services, peak load reduction, and support for the integration of renewable energies into the grid.
At Elmya Energy, we utilize green hydrogen for the production and supply of this resource using renewable energy sources, such as solar energy, to power the water electrolysis process. Green hydrogen is used as a clean fuel in a variety of applications, including transportation, industry, and power generation. It offers a versatile and sustainable means of efficiently storing and distributing renewable energy. Through this service, we actively contribute to the decarbonization of the economy by providing a clean and renewable alternative to fossil fuels, thereby promoting a more sustainable future for all.
